Live like you’re one goal down
This simple design began in the ice hockey realm.
Anyone who has a hockey background or enjoys the types of sports where accumulating more goals than the opponent will understand and appreciate this simple yet important design.

We participate in and watch hockey. Typically, when the local team gets up by a goal or two they begin the let their foot off the gas, sit back and rest on their laurels. Inevitably, however,
the opponent has different ideas and continues to press on and not give up (see
link to !Never Give Up design). The opponent’s effort may be rewarded with a hard fought win or they may tie the game but that is beside the point. It is usually at that time when we as spectators begin to yell at the tv (because after all we know the players can and are listening to us) that they need to “Play like you’re one goal down!” Play with the continued heart like you’re losing the game, dig down for that extra effort and keep scoring goals. Don’t let the other team back in the game.
This mantra, for us, translated into life. Never give up; keep your foot on the gas and live life at 100%.
And, so we designed “Live like you’re one goal down”!
We hope you enjoy it.
