Memorial Day Reminder

Memorial Day Reminder

Me·mo·ri·al Day/məˈmôrēəl ˌdā/noun

a day on which those who died in active military service are remembered, traditionally observed on May 30 but now officially observed on the last Monday in May.

For many it is the unofficial start of summer in the North. Packed with parades, road races and cookouts. But, for some it's a somber reminder of fallen and lost loved ones. While we enjoy our activities let's not forget those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for us to be able to safely and comfortably spend time with family and friends.

So, let's take a moment to remember those gone before us, fighting for our right to live free; and, let's be there for those still here that have lost loved ones.
