Took my step-daughter to Catamount Adventure Park and had a blast. They describe the park as an “exciting aerial forest adventure” and they are right on! At the time of our visit my step-daughter was 13 and afraid, or so I thought, of heights (based on her previous reactions on ferris wheels). Boy was I wrong. She acted like a Rhesus monkey in the treetops, as if she were walking on solid ground. No fear and nothing but excitement. Finish one obstacle and on to the next challenge. I had a hard time keeping up with her excitement while trying to take pictures at the same time.
One of the great things about an activity like this is it forces you to work together with your partner or group. You find yourselves swapping tricks and ideas, laughing and joking rather than carrying on about the usual activities of stressful living or arguing some menial point that in the end doesn’t amount to a hill of beans. Enjoy the time you have with your family and friends.
Give it a try. You never know what you can do until you at least try. You might be pleasantly surprised. I was.
LiFE is NOW…get out there!
